Two vendors hold remote access to around 168 GW of Europe's solar capacity. A compromise of 3 GW would be enough to matter to the grid. Those numbers are from DNV, for SolarPower Europe.
What I keep coming back to is narrower. Europe is now restricting who may reach into its generation fleet — but most operators still could not produce, today, a single picture of what sits behind their connection points and who can reach it.
Hybrid Core's new article is about why that visibility gap, not the vendor question, is the harder part.
