Nicolas Van Eenaeme

Nicolas Van Eenaeme is a central figure in the Ghent startup ecosystem and a long-standing co-founder partner of Lorenz Bogaert. Their collaboration spans more than two decades, from Netlog in the early 2000s through multiple successive ventures.

Nicolas co-founded Netlog and Twoo with Lorenz Bogaert and Toon Coppens as part of the Massive Media group (acquired by Meetic/IAC in 2012). He then co-founded Delta, a cryptocurrency portfolio tracker, which was acquired by eToro in 2019. Realo, a data-driven real estate Marketplace (proptech), was another co-founding credit with Lorenz.

After those exits, Nicolas co-founded StarApps in Ghent alongside Lorenz Bogaert as a specialized venture builder that has backed Bizzy, Introw, Fixform, and other B2B SaaS startups. He also co-founded Dealside, a SalesTech startup, and Opus Labs.

Nicolas runs REDCAT VENTURES as his personal angel fund, deploying capital and operational expertise into early-stage Belgian startups. He is one of the most active early-stage investors in the Ghent cluster.

Nicolas is the operational counterpart to Lorenz Bogaert's more public-facing brand role. Across their shared ventures, Nicolas has typically taken hands-on COO/operational roles (notably as COO at Delta Investment Tracker) while Lorenz handles external network and community relationships.
